The ash is loose and a bit flaky while the draw is slightly tight. It seems to be just the binder flying all over the place.

Not impressed with this cigar so far. Maybe the vitola doesn't suit me, I'm not a fan of the larger ring gauges. Also, I have very good memories of smoking a Series V Melanio.

I think this one is rolled way too tight. A cigar this size shouldn't make you work this hard. Removed a plug, did a purge, poked a few smoke channels. That did yield some nice creamy flavors, though.
