Santa brought me the Plasencia Reserva Original sampler and since it's not that warm in my outdoor man cave, I thought I'd start with the smallest of the bunch, the robusto.
Lots of bold, woody flavors for starters.

With all the wood burnt up, a nice range of grassy flavors reveals itself, with a hint of spices and herbs here and there.

Near the end of the first third, the cigar starts to flex its muscles with a bite of pepper and some leathery flavors.

Too late - half-way through, the ash drops in my lap. Still a nice, firm cone though.
Pepper
The draw is a bit tight but the burn is very straight and there is plenty of smoke to go around.

Sweet
The pepper doesn't really follow through but there is a hint of sweetness that pops up in the final third.

The sweetness combines beautifully with some nutty flavors, resulting in a nice chocolate-like experience.
All in all, this is a wonderful cigar with some bold flavors.
