Wrapper: Oily/smooth
Band: Satisfactory
First impression: very light draw, as if there is a leak. Enough smoke, though. Let's see what happens.

Herbs/spices
The first flavors are quite unique, sandy and herbal, yet fresh.
I'm afraid this could become a long, frustrating afternoon. The cigar is clearly underfilled with all of the associated problems: light draw, flaky ash, irregular burn :-(

It took a while to get there but great flavors now. The big hole in the middle has closed and the draw is tightening.
Nuts/beans
The draw is getting lighter again and the burn is very irregular. Very nice and distinct coffee flavor though.

It's a damn shame to have to burn away a square inch of wrapper each time the burn goes off the track. That's where all the flavors are and you can definitely tell.

In the final third the pepper that has been lingering in the background the whole time becomes more pronounced.

I'm sure this is a nice cigar but the construction issues with this one will ruin the final score.

I smoked this cigar not too long ago but it was a bit of a dud due to construction issues.
Although this one is from the same shop, it's definitely a different batch. It has the new Casdagli label, which is quite stylish by the way.

The first flavors remind me of my mother's kitchen garden.

The second part is markedly different, with more nutty flavors and some pepper. Overall the flavors are pretty mild, though.

Getting stronger flavors now. Full-on herbs and some roasted nutty flavors.

I liked the second half better than the first. Overall a nice cigar but not one I would buy again.
