A beautiful cigar to look at. A bit bigger than I usually care for but it was a gift - and a very nice one at that.
A bit strange, an hommage to Nicaragua that isn't a Nicaraguan puro but I guess they had their reasons at CAO.
The first flavors are very nice, strong herbs and some wood.
After about an inch, the flavors are subduing. Silence before the storm?
I'm a bit disappointed in this cigar. The flavors are not as outspoken as I had hoped and the construction, while OK, is not the best.
It's not a bad cigar, though. Maybe my expectations for an "hommage" were simply too high.
