Costa Rica
The history of tobacco in Costa Rica, like in many Central American countries, goes back centuries.
While modest in volume compared to other cigar exporting countries in the region, Costa Rica offers
the whole package: a suitable climate and soils to grow high quality tobacco including wrapper leaves,
cigar factories and several brands of international allure.

Peru
Even though the tobacco plant originated in the Peruvian and Ecuadorian Andes many thousands of years ago,
Peru probably isn't the first country that comes to mind when thinking about tobacco growing and cigar manufacturing.
In fact, the Tabacalera del Oriente is the only cigar factory in the country. But that doesn't stop them from
from making great cigars, even puros.
